STROKE: What you need to know

Free Community Seminar at Cookeville Regional Medical Center

COOKEVILLE-Three physician specialists will be speaking at the next CRMC Club 50 Plus community education seminar, “Stroke: What You Need to Know”.  The event will be held on Wednesday, November 7 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the CRMC Education Center and is open to Club 50 Plus members as well as the public.

The seminar will cover signs and symptoms of a stroke as well as available treatment options.  Speakers will be Sullivan Smith, MD – Medical Director, CRMC Emergency Department; Joseph Jestus, MD – Tier 1 Neurosurgery, CRMC neurosurgeon; and J. Mocco, MD – Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery, Radiology and Radiological Services, Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
