COOKEVILLE-Hunters, sportsmen, marksmen and outdoorsmen are invited to attend the Cookeville Regional Turkey Shoot on March 28 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will be held at Ebenezer Acres, located just beside Hidden Hollow in Cookeville.
Gate admission will include breakfast from Chick-Fil-A and a BBQ lunch by Strouds. Attendees will have access to both archery and muzzle-loader fun shoot stations provided by Outdoor Junction, a silent auction including weapons and hunting gear provided by National Wild Turkey Federation and an ATV and equipment viewing. Ongoing Turkey Shoot competitions will operate throughout the day for additional fees depending on the prize being offered at each shoot. Anyone is able to sign up to participate in the Turkey Shoot. Only paper and clay targets will be used at this event.
The Turkey Shoot event will benefit the Heart Care Fund, General Fund and Cancer Care Fund in memory of Detective Jerry Dale Abston. Sheriff Eddie Farris will be the range master for the day. For more information and rules of play, please visit www.CookevilleRegionalCharity.org.
